You will not want to miss The Connecticut Theatre Company performance of "Once on This Island" which begins June 24th. The show is the Caribbean adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" and has won eight TONY awards for its Broadway run. In August you can look forward to the production "Boeing-Boeing."
The Bushnell Performing Arts Center definitely has the busiest schedule of all of the nearby theaters. Some upcoming shows include the Blue Man Group, Mel Brooks, Sarah McLachlan, and Catapult from the NBC show "America's Got Talent." There are adults-only shows as well as things kids will love, such as Disney's Choo-Choo Soul with Genevieve.
