Corning Fountain - Created in 1899, the impressive Corning Fountain stands thirty feet tall and is made of marble.
Champion Trees - Bushnell Park is home to several native and rare trees, four of which are known as champion trees – Chinese Toon, Harder Rubber Tree, Oriental Oak, and Turkey Oak. According to the park's website, this means that they are the largest of their species identified by the Connecticut Notable Tree Survey.
Arch Tours & History - Arch guides give informative tours of the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch on Thursdays, May through October. Dedicated in 1886, this Gothic monument honors the Hartford residents who fought in the Civil War.
Summer Solstice in the Park - The Summer Solstice in the Park includes hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, lawn games, and live music. Guests are encouraged to wear all white, and the fun takes places on June 16th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
